If enough of us make one small change in our routine by switching to organic catsup, we can send a powerful message. We can increase our intake of important phytonutrients (lycopene, shown to be preventive in stomach and prostate cancer) and antioxidants, and reduce our intake of pesticides and herbicides. Studies show that organic tomatoes contain more lycopene then those grown using traditional farming methods, and organic catsup has up to 57% more lycopene than the non-organic kind. Simultaneously the profitability of organic farming will increase, and the overall use of pesticides and herbicides will decrease. As the organic farming industry grows along with the demand, the prices of organic products will decrease. All this from switching to organic catsup!

I recently bought a pack of two large bottles of Heinz organic catsup at BJ's for about the same price as the regular! I am told Heinz will be reformulating their catsup to eliminate the use of high fructose corn syrup and replace it with sugar. Yay Heinz!

Hi Kathy, Sorry, but I don't have a recipe. However, you can buy Heinz organic catsup/ketchup at grocery stores, locally at Tops (Buffalo, NY area).

Do you have a favorite recipe for organic catsup? Something that tastes like Heinz?
