At Jennings Middle School in Seffner, Florida, Mrs. Price and Mrs. Kale have started a recycling club where students who join help the school recycle other teacher's paper and tell their peers about things they can do to help the enviroment. The students in the club have mad recycling boxes. They used old cardboard boxes and decorated them with recycled paper they colored on. They then gave them to teachers who wanted them. About once a week, the students who have nothing going on in their other classes go around the school and collect the teacher's recycling boxes. They weigh the paper, then bring out the paper to the recycling dumpster in the back of the school. Also, about once a month the whole school has club day and recycling club gets together and talks about how to increase awareness, get outside school help, keep the club going, and recylcle more things.
