The English College in Prague is an international school in the Czech Republic. G.A.S. is a voluntary organization at our school, it is an extra curricular activity – we have regular weekly meetings. The team is made up of 1 teacher/supervisor, 1 chairperson (a student who leads the group), and 13 members – students (aged 13 - 18). Our aim is to change the mindset of students at school and bring in eco-friendly ideas. We do this by organizing events at our school to raise awareness of global issues such as climate change, fair trade and human rights. The team has also made some changes in the school environment in response to an audit carried out by our initial members.
