Green Cross Belarus runs the annual In My Homeland Children’s and Youth Drawing Contest, which encourages children and youth worldwide to depict their homeland. The submissions are judged by a jury made up of professional artists, art teachers and representatives of art magazines from Belarus, Russia, Ukraine, Poland and other countries with entries being awarded first, second and third degree diplomas in seven (7) age groups. These paintings, along with those awarded exhibition participation diplomas, will make up the 6th International In My Homeland Children’s and Youth Art Exhibition that will launch in Spring 2011 in Minsk.

The works will be also displayed on the Green Cross Belarus online gallery (www.greencross.by) and Children Art (www.children-art.org) galleries. An art album with reproductions of the works displayed in the exposition, a full list of all the winners and interviews with members of the jury will also be created. Furthermore, a number of other contest diplomas and teacher’s awards will also be given.
