The project is aimed at environmental education of children and the community about renewable energy sources and to learn practical ways to protect the climate.
Students will participate in a series of educational activities that will activate the action and learning by experience and fun:
• workshops on practical ways to save heat and electricity and reduce CO2 emissions
• educational activities about renewable energy with the use of teaching aids purchased: building modules with ready-made models of wind, water and solar energy release of organic substances, the production of current models of motor
• a workshop with the construction and operating principles of solar, wind, solar and mechanical. EnergoRower - participants of the course the strength of their legs produce electricity, which powers the connected electrical equipment or installation of LED
• Off-road game in the search for renewable energy
• strategic game of energy management
• film about the sources of renewable energy
Summary of educational activities will be a contest of knowledge about renewable energy.
Classes will be prepared and conducted FOR IN experienced people involved in environmental education from the Babia Góra National Park, Dry Forest Division, Department of the Environment District Suski, teachers, environmentalists.
Contest will be conducted on an artwork of renewable energy sources. The winning artworks will be presented at each school and for all partners participating in the project.
At the primary school building in Zawoja Przysłop be extended for a further photoelement small solar power station. The electricity will be used to illuminate the LED technology corridor of the school. Available to the students rise to the so-called small mechanical power. EnergoRower.
We continuously monitor the impact will be conducted on the school environment using the online tool "ekoszkoła Calculator."
As a result of action taken in the building of Primary School No. 4 will operate Zawoja Przysłop Centre for Environmental Education under the name "SCHOOL OF CLEAN ENERGY."
The resulting facility will be organized educational activities separately for different age groups: students class I-III, the students class IV-VI, high school students, secondary school students, teachers, adults - corporations, government institutions and state and NGOs.
